El Día Nacional de Oración fue establecido por el presidente Abraham Lincoln como el día oficial de Acción de Gracias en 1863. El 17 de abril de 1952, el presidente Harry Truman firmó un proyecto de ley por el que se proclamaba el Día Nacional de Oración en la ley en los Estados Unidos. El presidente Reagan modificó la ley en 1988, designando el primer jueves de mayo de cada año como el Día Nacional de Oración.
En este día, varios millones de personas de diferentes religiones están llamadas a orar por los Estados Unidos y sus líderes. El Día Nacional de Oración para el año 2020 se celebra el jueves 7 de mayo.
El pastor Tim Thompson se unirá de nuevo a los ángeles de la libertad este jueves en el Día Nacional de Oración como respuesta a su arresto, y el arresto de los ángeles de la libertad, el viernes pasado. Dirigirá un servicio de oración en el Sacramento Capitol a las 11:00 AM.
Otros pastores y ciudadanos también se unirán en oración al mismo tiempo fuera de los Ayuntamientos y oficinas del Condado. Considere unirse a la oración, ya sea físicamente o en espíritu, manteniendo las pautas de salud establecidas.

National Day of Prayer was established by President Abraham Lincoln as the official Thanksgiving holiday in 1863. On April 17, 1952, President Harry Truman signed a bill proclaiming the National Day of Prayer into law in the United States. President Reagan amended the law in 1988, designating the first Thursday of May each year as the National Day of Prayer.
On this day, several million people from different faiths are called to pray for the United States and its leaders. National Day of Prayer for the year 2020 is celebrated on Thursday, May 7th.
Pastor Tim Thompson will join the Freedom Angels again this Thursday on the National Day of Prayer as a response to his arrest, and the arrest of the Freedom Angels, last Friday. He will lead a prayer service at the Sacramento Capitol at 11:00 AM.
Other pastors and citizen will also join in prayer at the same time outside of the City Halls and County offices. Consider joining in prayer whether physically or in spirit, maintaining the established health guidelines.
