La Senda Antigua

Hubo un tiempo en que la verdad no se ponía en discusión. La verdad podía incomodar, enfadar o hasta levantar rebelión, pero su validez no se dudaba. Todos la reconocían como un principio absoluto.
En cualquier parte del mundo, por ejemplo, asesinato, mentira y engaño eran malos. Siempre. Y si alguien pretendía exhibir una “excepción” a esta regla, el abundante sentido común no tardaba en desacreditarla.
Por supuesto, eso no significaba que la verdad fuera siempre la guía de la humanidad. De hecho, se buscaba cuestionarla, alterarla e inclusive negarla. Y muchos decidieron vivir abiertamente en su contra. Pero sin atreverse a sostener que su mentira era verdad.
Todo eso ha cambiado. Desde que el humanismo trastocó los absolutos en relativos, la lógica básica de contrarios (bueno≠malo) pasó a degradarse en una infinita serie de resultados provisionales (tesis+antítesis=síntesis).
Hoy un hombre puede “ser” mujer (o viceversa). Es más, puede ser cualquier cosa que le prescriba su “autopercepción”, sin ningún correlato con la lógica, y la sociedad es obligada a considerar su deseo como verdad. La confusión de la identidad no ha tardado en generalizarse.
Hoy se defiende el “derecho” al asesinato de personas inocentes en el vientre de sus madres (o en los laboratorios de fertilización in vitro), y quienes lo hacen no dudan en considerarse “defensores de derechos humanos” (?). Resultado: el valor del ser humano ha llegado a ser inferior al de cualquier animal en peligro de extinción.
Hoy se exalta la fantasía de “puedes ser lo que quieras ser” y, a falta de realidad, se ofrecen mundos virtuales donde todos pueden lograrlo sin esfuerzo, rápidamente y con una gran “experiencia”.
La ausencia de verdad nos ha dejado sin identidad, sin valor y sin realidad.
Pero lo más increíble es que quienes hicieron esto no son dementes. Son reputados intelectuales, líderes y hasta organismos internacionales que venden historias antes que principios, que exaltan emociones antes que razonamientos y que se enfocan en lo temporal antes que en lo permanente.
Las élites han secuestrado la verdad y se asumen el derecho de imponernos su versión relativizada de ella por consenso, conveniencia, votación o decreto.
Hace falta, entonces, rechazarlas y volver a la senda antigua. Donde el absoluto, el sentido común y la certeza reinan. Donde lo bueno siempre es bueno, aunque nadie lo haga, y donde lo malo siempre es malo, aunque todos lo hagan. Recobrar el control siempre es posible.

 

There was a time when the truth was not up for discussion. The truth could upset, anger, or even raise rebellion, but its validity was not in doubt. Everyone recognized it as an absolute principle.
Anywhere in the world, for example, murder, lying, and deception were bad. Forever. And if someone claimed to exhibit an “exception” to this rule, abundant common sense was quick to discredit it.
Of course, that did not mean that the truth was always humanity’s guide. In fact, it was sought to question, alter and even deny it. And many decided to live openly against him. But without daring to maintain that his lie was true.
All that has changed. Since humanism turned the absolutes into relative ones, the basic logic of opposites (good ≠ bad) began to degrade into an infinite series of provisional results (thesis + antithesis = synthesis).
Today a man can “be” a woman (or vice versa). What’s more, it can be whatever your “self-perception” prescribes, without any correlation with logic, and society is forced to consider your wish as true. Identity confusion has not been slow to spread.
Today the “right” to murder innocent people in their mothers’ wombs (or in in vitro fertilization laboratories) is defended, and those who do so do not hesitate to consider themselves “human rights defenders” (?). Result: the value of the human being has become less than that of any animal in danger of extinction.
Today the fantasy of “you can be whatever you want to be” is exalted and, in the absence of reality, virtual worlds are offered where everyone can achieve it effortlessly, quickly and with a great “experience”.
The absence of truth has left us without identity, without value and without reality.
But the most incredible thing is that those who did this are not insane. They are renowned intellectuals, leaders and even international organizations that sell stories before principles, that exalt emotions before reasoning and that focus on the temporary before the permanent.
The elites have hijacked the truth and assume the right to impose their relativized version of it on us by consensus, convenience, vote or decree.
It is necessary, then, to reject them and return to the old path. Where the absolute, common sense and certainty reign. Where good is always good, even if nobody does it, and where bad is always bad, even if everyone does it. Regaining control is always possible.
