Gov. Schwarzenegger at Health Care Roundtable

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today met with small business owners, working families and a physician to discuss the roadblocks to obtaining affordable health insurance. Earlier this week, the Governor toured California Hospital Medical Center to get a firsthand look at the financial burden the uninsured place upon consumers with insurance. The Governor also discussed the hidden taxes working families pay – such as higher premiums, deductibles and other out-of-pocket expenses – to offset the costs of covering the uninsured.
