Best Mom Contest
Deadline for essays is March 31st
Time Warner Cable, Desert Cities is providing the forms and materials needed to participate in “The Best Mom” contest. Contestants who want to talk up their Mom’s can do so with an essay of 150 to 550 words of praise and admiration.
The contest is open to all Coachella Valley students in grades 4 through 12. There will be three winners of a computer, chosen from each category of elementary, middle and high school. The teachers of the students will receive $500 to be used for classroom supplies. Mom’s will be treated to lunch at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage. There will be plenty of other prizes contributed by local businesses. Over $10,000 has been contributed.
