Luis Silva General Manager of Applebee’s in Cathedral City is receiving the membership plaque from Fernando Silva, Executive Director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Apple Core Enterprises started their chain in North Dakota expanding to Arizona and then to California . They have stores in Calexico, El Centro, and now in the Coachella Valley. In Riverside County, they are in Beaumont, Yucca Valley, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert.

At the Cathedral City location, they have approximately 75 employees. Of this group, 90% consider themselves Hispanic.

Applebee’s is very committed to the community and work with local schools in various programs to reward and motivate students to excel and continue their education.

Applebee’s is our newest member in the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and they have already started to work with our business network by sponsoring the 8th Indio International Hispanic Film Festival this past weekend at the Indio Performing Arts Center on Fargo Street in the city of Indio. Luis Silva is eager to integrate Applebee’s into our upcoming events. They continue to support the community as they have done in the past for which we are very grateful and welcome this successful company.
