There is a beautiful, 163 acre facility in Mecca called the Sunset Ranch Oasis that offers 50 acres of freshwater lakes surrounded by palm trees, a furnished lodge with pool and a full kitchen for 18+ guests, putting green and sand trap. Nick Davidson, the owner, recently discussed the 46 years the ranch has been in his family and the” great enjoyment it has been as a vacation place for him, friends, family and children”.
The Sunset Ranch is an ideal location for weddings and quinceaneras. People can choose from two lovely outdoor settings, both with lake views. The Lakeside Courtyard is perfect for weddings with less than 100 guests and includes a lakeside dock, pool area, lawn and kitchen. The Starlight Palms area can accommodate 500+ guests and features a stage, 5,000 square foot dance floor, bar and large lawn area.
Water sports lovers coming to the Ranch have the exclusive use of a 16 acre private lake with a tournament water-ski course or can wakeboard or Jet Ski. “By offering exclusive use of the lake here at the Sunset Ranch Oasis” says Davidson, “families and friends can travel a much shorter distance to a water sports lake with none of the congestion and safety concerns of other areas.”
