Tribute To Al Vasquez

There are many patriotic, caring, awe inspiring gentlemen in our country; however only one stands out for me as the ultimate individual and that person is Al Vasquez.  He has inspired so many hispanic and anglo republicans that the count is endless. Naturally, this is not a partisan issue because al involved himself with everyone he has come in contact with through the years personally or through La Prensa Hispana.
One of the many honors I have personally received  through the years, and the one from Ana and Al Vasquez, is the el Sol Azteca crystal award on february 28, 2003, which is for volunteer of the year valley wide activist. This award is a constant reminder of the generosity of the Vasquez Family and one I will cherish always.
Al will always be remembered by me and know he is in god’s resting place.

Existen muchos hombres patriotas, guardianes, e inspiradores en nuestro país. Sin embargo, sólo uno de ellos destaca para mí como primera persona. Y esa persona es Al Vasquez. Él ha inspirado a tantos hispanos y anglo republicanos que la cuenta es interminable. Naturalmente, esto no es un asunto de partido, porque através de los años Al estuvo implicado con todo el mundo que llegaba a entrar en contacto con él, personalmente o a través de La Prensa Hispana.
Uno de los muchos honores que he recibido personalmente a través de los años, de Ana y Al Vasquez, fue el premio de cristal del Sol Azteca, el 28 de febrero del 2003, por haber sido la voluntaria y activista del año en el Valle.
Este premio es un recordatorio constante de la generosidad de la Familia Vasquez a quien siempre he apreciado.
Al Vasquez siempre será recordado por mí, y sé que está reposando muy cerca de Dios.
