Resultados de Elecciones de Medio Término ¡¡ Vamos por el Cambio !!

Ahora, el super Martes es historia porque ha marcado un antes y un ahora. Ahora, ¿Qué pasa después del super Martes? A este punto, las elecciones primarias han pasado y con ellas queda la pregunta del millón, ¿por qué no vote?. Este es el momento cuando la falta de participación se convierte en el propio cambio.
Las elecciones primarias siguen arrojando resultados de los cuales se traducen como los cidadanos quieren cambiar sus comunidades y la participación cívica que existe. A nivel nacional y por la presidencia, Mr. Sanders obtuvo con un 34% la candidatura primarias del estado de California por el partido Demócrata y Mr. Trump (93% por el partido Republicano.
A nivel local, Dr. Raul Ruiz de el Distrito Congresional 36th con un 58%, mientras que Erin Cruz (23%), Milo Stevanovich (11%), y Patrice Kimbler (8%). En cambio, El Distrito Congresional 42nd , fué superado por Calvert (62%), O’Mara (21%), y Marston (17%).
El Distrito 28th del Senado del Estado de California tiene a Melissa Melendez como finalista con 41%, mientras que Elizabeth Romero (22%), and Joy Silver (21%), le siguieron.
El Distrito 42nd de la Asamblea del Estado de California tiene a Mayes como finalista con un 36%. Sim embargo, solo el 71% de los votos han sido contabilizados. Le sigue Kotyuk (34%) y Mazingo (30%) con una cercanía en votos.
El Distrito 56th de la Asamblea del Estado de California tiene a Eduardo García con un 56% y a America Figueroa con un 39 %. Esta será una contienda interesante de seguir muy de cerca ya que solo hay dos candidatos y sus perfiles proveen una bella diversidad de puntos de vista políticos, analisis comunitarios, y visiones futuristas para transformar nuestro Valle de Coachella y áreas cercanas.
En la relación a las propuestas: el Bono para la reparación de escuelas (Porposición 13), fué derrotada con un 56% en oposición. En cambio, la Medida I de Indian Wells que requiere ciertas reglas y procedimientos en como se elije un consejal pasó con un 64%. Como también, la Medida J que limita el término para los concejales de la ciudad pasó con un 62%.
La Medida G que permitirá al Distrito Escolar de Coachella (CVUSD) tener un Medida de Bono pasó con un 51%.
Las elecciones comienzan hoy para una segunda ronda por algunos puestos políticos, y usted, yo y todos tenemos una obligación cívica de hacer el cambio. Hay tiempos para analizar, conocer, educarse, y participar.

At this point, the primary elections have passed and with them the million-dollar question remains, why not vote? This is the moment when the lack of participation becomes the change itself.
The primary elections continue to show results that translate into how citizens should change their communities and the civic participation that exists. At the national level and by the presidency, Mr. Sanders obtained 34% of the primary candidacy of the state of California for the Democratic party and Mr. Trump (93% for the Republican party.
At the local level, Dr. Raúl Ruiz of the 36th Congressional District with 58%, while Erin Cruz (23%), Milo Stevanovich (11%) and Patrice Kimbler (8%). On the other hand, Congressional District 42 was surpassed by Calvert (62%), O’Mara (21%) and Marston (17%).
District 28 of the California State Senate has Melissa Meléndez as a finalist with 41%, while Elizabeth Romero (22%) and Joy Silver (21%) followed.
District 42 of the California State Assembly has a finalist month of May with 36%. However, only 71% of the votes have been counted. It is followed by Kotyuk (34%) and Mazingo (30%) with a close vote.
The 56th District of the California State Assembly has Eduardo Garcia with 56% and America Figueroa with 39%. This will be an interesting contest to follow very closely since there are only two candidates and their profiles provide a beautiful diversity of political views, community analysis, and futuristic visions to transform our Coachella Valley and nearby areas.
In relation to the proposals: the School Repair Bonus (Position 13), was defeated with 56% in opposition. On the other hand, Measure I of Indian Wells that requires certain rules and procedures as chosen by a councilor passed with 64%. As also, Measure J that limits the term for city councilors passed with 62%.
Measure G that will allow the Coachella School District (CVUSD) to have a Bond Measure passed with 51%.
The elections begin today for a second round for some political positions, and you, I and we all have a civic obligation to make the change. There are times to analyze, know, educate, and participate.
