Padres de Familia en el Condado de Imperial están Despertando e Informándose

Padres del Condado de Imperial organizaron una segunda reunión de IPOC (Padres Informados de California) el 9 de julio. Centro Familiar Cristiano de Brawley facilito sus instalaciones para dicha presentación a la cual decenas de padres de Calexico, Heber, Imperial y Brawley llegaron para informarse y tener oportunidad de revisar los currículos de “Cuídate” y “Positive Prevention PLUS,” que algunos distritos de esa localidad están utilizando en Middle School y High School.
Esta vez la presentación se realizó sin interrupciones por parte de la oposición como el mes pasado, y muchos padres pudieron recibir respuesta a sus preguntas. Además, se distribuyeron cartas para “optar-fuera” (exclusión), y muestras de los materiales.
El Reto de Verano de IPOC aun continua, y padres a través del estado se han estado manifestando en las oficinas distritales de sus Legisladores para responsabilizarlos por sus registros de votación respecto a la AB 329, AB 439, y ACR-99 entre otras; así como para cuestionarles su postura en referencia a los efectos dañinos de la Educación SeXXXual Integral (ESI), y presionarlos para legislar algo que restaure los derechos de los padres. Padres y abuelos se han estado manifestando en las oficinas de los Legisladores Eduardo García, Shirley Weber, Toni Atkins, Tom Daly, and Connie Leyva. Imperial County parents hosted a second IPOC (Informed Parents of California) meeting on July 9th. Family Christian Center in Brawley lent their facilities for the presentation, where tens of parents from Calexico, Heber, Imperial and Brawley showed up to get informed and for an opportunity to review the curriculums “Cuídate” and “Positive Prevention PLUS,” some local districts are using in Middle School and High School.
This time the presentation went without interruptions from the opposition like last month, and many parents were able to get their questions answered. Opt-out letters and material samples were distributed as well.
IPOC’s Summer Challenge is still going on, and parents throughout the State have been rallying at their Legislators’ district offices to make them accountable for their voting record regarding AB 329, AB 439, and ACR-99; as well as to ask them where they stand regarding Comprehensive SeXXXuality Education (CSE), and to pressure them into legislating something else to protect the children from the harmful effects of CSE, and to restore parental rights. As of last week, parents and grandparents have been gathering at the offices of Legislators Eduardo Garcia, Shirley Weber, Toni Atkins, Tom Daly, and Connie Leyva.
