Orange County Leads the Way for the State in GENDER EDUCATION

The Orange County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Al Mijares, made a deal with state leaders in February 2018 to lead the way for ALL OF CALIFORNIA in training teachers how to implement the controversial Health Framework that was adopted by the State Board of Education in May 2019. This Framework instructs schools to teach: Gender is a choice and based on feelings, that a child of any age can be BOTH genders, NEITHER gender or fluctuate between BOY or GIRL (gender fluid), that SEX ED and HIV Prevention be taught in grades K-3rd grades, having multiple romantic partners (non-monogamous relationships) is normal and safe. It promotes teaching Pansexuality, Polysexuality, and Asexuality. Dr. Mijares accepted this 5-million-dollar gift from the state without public knowledge and without telling his own board. The board members, elected by the people to represent them, could not vote on this, because the majority of the board did not know about it.
Dr. Mijares has been rewarded in the past for being an advocate for Hispanic communities, however, when Hispanic parents came to him and asked for his advocacy, he was silent and did nothing. Hispanic parents needed his help because the California Department of Education excluded all non-English speakers from giving input about this Framework being adopted for Schools K-12. Due to Dr. Mijares’ track-record, they were certain he would help right this discrimination against them. However, they did not know he officially sealed the 5-million-dollar deal with the state to implement this Framework in August 2018, nine months before the state’s vote. No wonder he was silent when they spoke to him at board meetings, wrote him emails and letters and asked for his help. Non-English-speaking parents had no voice in this matter. Does Dr Mijares think non-English speaking parents care less about their children than English speaking parents? Does he think they do not deserve to be heard and that their input does not matter? Does he feel the state knows what’s best for our children? Does he think he alone has the power and authority to make decisions on behalf of our families and that his elected board members only exist as “window dressing”? El Superintendente escolar del Condado de Orange, Dr. Al Mijares, hizo un trato con otros líderes estatales en febrero del 2018 para guiar el camino de TODA CALIFORNIA en capacitar a maestros para implementar el controversial Marco de Referencia de Salud adoptado por el Consejo Estatal Educativo en mayo del 2019. Este Marco de Referencia instruye a las escuelas a ensenar: Que el género se basa en sentimientos, que un niño de cualquier edad puede ser de AMBOS géneros, NINGUNO, o fluctuar entre NINO o Nina) genero fluido), que EDUCACION SEXUAL y prevención de VIH deben ensenarse de Kínder al 3er grado, y que tener múltiples parejas románticas (relaciones no-monógamas) es normar y seguro. Promueve ensenar Pansexualidad, Polisexualidad, y Asexualidad. El Dr. Mijares acepto un regalo de 5 millones de dólares del estado sin conocimiento público y sin notificar a su propio consejo. Los miembros del consejo, elegidos por la gente para representarlos, no pudo votar sobre eso, porque la mayoría del consejo no sabía.
El Dr. Mijares ha sido recompensado en el pasado por su abogacía en la comunidad hispana, sin embargo, cuando los padres hispanos le pidieron abogar por ellos, permaneció callado y no hizo nada. Padres hispanos necesitaban su ayuda porque el Departamento de Educación de California excluyo a todos los que no hablan inglés de poder aportar sobre el Marco de Referencia que sería adoptado en escuelas públicas del K-12. Debido a su trayectoria, estaban seguros que les ayudaría, sin embargo, no sabían que oficialmente ya había sellado el trato para implementar este Marco en agosto del 2018, nueve meses antes de que el estado votara. Con razón estaba callado cuando le hablaban en las juntas, le escribían cartas y pedían ayuda.
