Queen Scheherazade Scholarship Pageant Applications Now Online

The Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival is now accepting applications for the Queen Scheherazade Scholarship Pageant. The Scholarship Pageant is open to young ladies who exhibit exceptional character and are students within Riverside County. Applicants must be at least 17 years of age by the day of the Pageant, November 23, 2019, and have not reached the age of 22 by the Fair’s opening day, February 14, 2020. All candidates must be residents or students of Riverside County and have at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA.
Queen Scheherazade and her Court will reign over the 2020 Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival, act as the goodwill ambassadors for the event and make many promotional appearances. The Queen and her Court will benefit from experiences with public speaking and media relations. Queen Scheherazade will be awarded a scholarship in the amount of $3,500 and Princesses Dunyazade and Jasmine will each be awarded $3,000. Applications are available online at www.DateFest.org and will be accepted until October 9, 2019 at 5:00 pm.
The 74th Annual Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival is presented by Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, the desert’s leader in gaming and entertainment.
