What is the difference between a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer and a journalist?
The doctor cures, the lawyer litigates, the engineer constructs and people leave the solutions to their problems in the hands of these professionals.  On the other hand the journalist has no solutions. The good journalist helps you to think,  the profession Journalist  communicates what is happening around us and how it influences our lives.
Journalists are like children in the child’s age.  The journalist’s obligation is to ask, think, analyze, seek the truth, no matter who attacks or defends it.  No matter where the collective thought goes, it does not matter who creates the majority, It does not matter who governs or who criticizes, no matter their personal interests.
Journalism is a profession of curious people, of questioners, of communicators, of those who do not believe in quick answers, in easy solutions, in stories made according to who says them and who listens to them, that’s why the power of journalism is feared, that’s why the journalist is a critic, trying not to silence the truths that he discovers and publishes.
Al Vásquez was a journalist, thinker, analyst, writer and much more, that is to say, a passionate communicator, one of those unique people of qualities and talents needed to reach the mass communication, making his writings to arouse the interest of others, that their journalistic works were loved or hated, but never went unnoticed.
Al Vásquez was a fighter, a karateka of life, looking for the perfect blows,  using words which are the most lethal weapons, that’s why their passion for politics, Literature, cinema and art were written for those who needed it most.
Al Vásquez left us the Legacy of the passionate for the truth, the Legacy of the profound and analytical thinker, the Legacy of the creative researcher, in short, the Legacy of a great communicator.

El Legado de un gran Comunicador

¿Cuál es la diferencia entre un médico, un abogado, un ingeniero y un periodista?
El médico cura, el abogado litiga, el ingeniero construye, es decir que las personas dejan en manos de estos profesionales la solución de sus problemas, en cambio el periodista no brinda soluciones, el buen periodista ayuda a pensar, es decir que la profesión de periodista es de comunicar lo que ocurre  a nuestro alrededor y como esto influenciara en nuestras vidas.
Los periodistas somos como niños en la edad del ¿por qué?, la obligación del periodista es preguntar, pensar, analizar, buscar la verdad, no importa a quien ataque o defienda, no importa para dónde va el pensamiento colectivo, no importa que crea la mayoría, no importa quien gobierne o a quién critica, no importa sus intereses personales.
El periodismo es una profesión de curiosos, de cuestionadores, de comunicadores, de aquellos que no creen en las respuestas rápidas, en las soluciones fáciles, en las historias elaboradas de acuerdo a quien las dice y a quien las escucha, por eso el poder del periodismo es temido, por eso el periodista verdadero es criticado, tratando de acallar las verdades que descubre y que publica.
Al Vásquez fue periodista, pensador, analista, escritor y mucho más, es decir un apasionado comunicador, una de esas personas únicas, que desarrollo toda la gama de cualidades y talentos necesarios para llegar a la comunicación masiva, logrando que sus escritos despertaran el interés de propios y ajenos, que sus trabajos periodísticos fueran amados u odiados, pero nunca pasaran desapercibidos.
Al Vásquez fue un luchador, un karateca de la vida, buscando los golpes perfectos con que doblegar a aquellos que tratan, todos los días, de engañar a quienes no saben defenderse, utilizando las palabras, que son las armas más letales, por eso su pasión por la política, la literatura, el cine y el arte estaba al servicio de aquellos que más lo necesitan.
Al Vásquez nos dejó el Legado del apasionado por la verdad, el Legado del pensador profundo y analítico, el Legado del investigador creativo, en definitiva, el Legado de un gran Comunicador.
