El Tren Maya echará mano de ingenieros y técnicos en sistemas ferroviarios egresados del IPN y el Conalep para su operación.

A fin de garantizar que el Tren Maya cuente con personal especializado para su operación a lo largo de los 1,554 kilómetros que recorrerá a través de cinco estados del sureste mexicano, la empresa Tren Maya S.A. de C.V., propiedad del Ejército, firmará un convenio de colaboración con el Colegio Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica (Conalep) para formar técnicos en sistemas ferroviarios.
Se trata de la carrera de “Técnico bachiller en Sistemas Ferroviarios” que serán parte de la oferta educativa de esta institución en el estado de Quintana Roo, en las ciudades de Cancún y Chetumal, y cuyos egresados podrán entrar a trabajar a la empresa del gobierno.
De acuerdo con Alstom, los sistemas ferroviarios contemplan los sistemas de protección de tren; control de tráfico (central y zonales) y de señalización ferroviaria. Además, sistemas de monitoreo y control como de radiolocalización, telecomunicaciones, estaciones y vía, telemandos, energía, técnicos y de apoyo a la explotación.
“Como ya se ha informado antes, vamos a tener carreras técnicas con el Conalep, el técnico bachiller en transporte ferroviario, en los planteles de Cancún y Chetumal, es una contribución importante también del gobierno del estado para lograr hacer que los profesionistas se incorporen a la empresa del Tren Maya”, señaló Óscar Lozano Águila, director general de la empresa Tren Maya S.A. de C.V.
El Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) también contribuirá a la formación de ingenieros en sistemas férreos con el egreso y contratación de 40 estudiantes de Ingeniería Ferroviaria, carrera que se imparte la Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingeniería en Palenque, Chiapas.
“Nos está ayudando muchísimo el Instituto Politécnico Nacional, el Consejo Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica y estamos garantizando de que se incorporen al tren la primera generación de ingenieros ferroviarios que estarán graduándose en la unidad de la UPIC, de ahí, de Palenque, que van a ser 84 egresados.
“Al menos vamos a garantizar que 40 de ellos puedan incorporarse a hacer su servicio social, prácticas profesionales con el Tren Maya y que de estos profesionales formen parte del pie veterano del Tren Maya”, expuso el mando militar.
Para que el Tren Maya pueda operar el próximo 1 de diciembre, se están formando a 25 militares, entre ellos una mujer, como maquinistas del ferrocarril, quienes tienen una edad que oscila entre los 29 años.
Se tiene previsto que las primeras pruebas estáticas y dinámicas del Tren Maya comiencen en julio a partir de la entrega del primer tren con 15 mil kilómetros de testeo.
El personal que operará el ferrocarril se está formando a través de convenios con la Asociación Mexicana de Ferrocarriles y de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Metros y Subterráneos.
A lo largo de la ruta del Tren Maya, que pasará por Tabasco, Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatán y Quintana Roo, se dispondrán de tres centros de control general: dos en Quintana Roo, en Chetumal y Cancún, y uno más en Palenque, Chiapas. La dirección general de la obra se ubicará en Mérida, Yucatán.
Esta obra contará en sus 1,554 kilómetros con ocho bases de mantenimiento, tres talleres y seis cocheras, que están bajo la supervisión y operación de Alstom, quien construye los carros de ferrocarril.

Toma forma Tren Maya S.A. de C.V.
La empresa militar que operará el Tren Maya y que pertenece al conglomerado Grupo Aeroportuario, Ferroviario y de Servicios Auxiliares Olmeca-Maya-Mexica, S.A. de C.V.​, ha iniciado su consolidación con la incorporación de 261 elementos.
Se trata de 138 militares y 200 civiles, de ellos, 91 mujeres y 247 hombres, que ya prestan su servicio a la empresa que operará una de las obras emblemáticas del sexenio lopezobradorista el 1 de diciembre.
Tren Maya S.A. de C.V. fue constituida formalmente el pasado 1 de junio de 2022 y tendrá bajo su cargo hoteles, centros recreativos y zonas arqueológicas bajo su mando.

The National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) will also contribute to the training of engineers in railway systems with the graduation and hiring of 40 Railway Engineering students, a career that is taught by the Interdisciplinary Professional Engineering Unit in Palenque, Chiapas.

In order for the Mayan Train to operate on December 1, 25 soldiers are being trained, including a woman, as railroad engineers, who are between 29 years of age.
The first static and dynamic tests of the Mayan Train are scheduled to begin in July after the delivery of the first train with 15,000 kilometers of testing.
