With California ‘s state budget more than six weeks overdue, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today called on the State Senate to pass the current budget proposal which he has committed to using his blue pencil to reduce the operating deficit to zero once it reaches his desk.

Giving his assurance that he would do everything within his executive authority to minimize the consequences of the current impasse and keep the state running, the Governor toured the Community Care and Rehabilitation Center in Riverside , which relies on state funding. Click here to read more.
