The Making of American Greatness

The Making of American Greatness

Understanding the undercurrents and chicanery in politics is not a gift. In today’s political world where lawlessness and unconstitutional directives are being led by none other than our elected leaders, understanding has become a punishment. Despite open encroachment and erosion of our constitutional rights, low information voters continue on the same path of consistently grouping to elect and re-elect Democrats. Today for the first time in years, there seems to be a core of recalcitrant voters yelling “hell no, we won’t go”. Media is of course incensed at our inability to accept their word as gospel. There is currently a national insistence our elected president is illegitimate ignoring the fact our entire past eight years representation by elected government has been a universal farce. So many inconvenient truths were swept under the rug, lumpy is our natural state of order. Like it or not, we are in a “Make America Great Again” tailspin.
Last week, I was called predictable in my writings, always anti-democrat. The essence of my opinions are always geared towards the defense of our constitution, our bill of rights, our freedoms and love of God and country. Symbolism such as honoring the flag or respecting the service to the nation by our veterans goes without saying. The question I would pose is “why would there be a perception of being anti-democrat for defending the very core of our national values”? Why? Have we changed so much as a nation political correctness defines who we are and replaces the great nation we were meant to be?
Having been raised as a democrat in an extremely conservative epoch when God, our nation and family values were instilled in us from childhood; as a young adult I became aware the Democrat “party” had meandered off course and was heading straight towards Socialism. My family was led by a WWII Veteran and I myself am the product of the Marine Corps, I bailed out of supporting a political party who no longer supported my beliefs. There are many still incapsulated in a fanciful belief the democrat party stands for God and Country. Their awakening has not yet arrived. There is a hidden turmoil for many good people who do not yet understand the guts of their party has been replaced by anti- social, anti-American quasi socialism defined as political correctness, a pre requisite of today’s liberal America.
I apologize for the erroneous perception I am against Democrats, in truth, I am in support of God and Country and the values I was instilled with and you as a reader must establish the niche you have assigned for yourself.
This nation will be given the opportunity to awaken one more time. The nation is experiencing fear of reprisal by entrenched party zealots who disagree with you or the leadership,
I read how chimpanzee’s are 95% aligned with the human DNA so we can be certain our ancestors were monkeys. Not difficult to believe, many of us still have the characteristics well pronounced and only made less evident with the use of powders, creams and haircuts. We like the phrase “ beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Half of our search for a mate involves finding a beholder willing to look past our monkey parts.
Here is the fact which temporarily eludes my reasoning but a fact I can make up copious theories about, as to how it came about. Scientists involved in deciphering the DNA sequence have discovered we as humans share 50% of our DNA with the banana. We all know chimpanzees love bananas so there is a common denominator but where does the human element come into play here? We are 95% monkey and 50% banana. Scientists have no scientific explanation other than knowing all life including plant life comes from the same source including single cell living organisms such as plankton.
Elections by we the people will be contentious as will be accepting the results. Years of turmoil, court challenges and downright false maneuvers will be instigated by persons dedicated to change the course of history by philosophically convincing us we are not the great nation we were meant to be. While violence will become common, our acceptance or non acceptance WILL ultimately decide our choice of Gods, our dress codes our demeanor and behavior towards other religions. We get to define greatness!
