Indio Chamber and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce-Coachella Valley Hold Annual Joint Mixer

The Sizzler Restaurant on Hwy 111 in Indio has become the traditional gathering place for the annual joint chamber mixer. The event in it’s fourth year has become a resounding success attracting businesses from as far away as Mexicali. This year attended by Hispanic Chamber Members Antonio Bravo from the Mexican Department of Tourism and Dr. Antonio Rodriguez representing a coalition of Dr’s from the Collegio de Medicos, in Mexicali. New HCCCV member Director of South Bay Health Insurance Services, Daniel Bello was also in attendance. Ernesto Rosales representing Forest Lawn Memorial parks and Mortuary, this years sponsor was also present. Many dignitaries were in attendance including County Supervisor John Benoit, fluent in Spanish and Councilwoman Lupe Watson representing the City of Indio. This event has become the focal point for those aware and interested in the evolution of cross cultural business relationships. Latinos now represent 51% of the Coachella Valley population and the astute leadership of the Indio Chamber under Joyce Donaldson has made certain a positive relationship continues.
