Cage Fighting Returns to Spolight 29 Casino with “Apocalypse”

Alliance Fight Club Presents Bouts on August 7

There is nothing like the intense live action of cage fighting, and now Spotlight 29 Casino is proud to welcome cage fighting back to the Coachella Valley.

Alliance Fight Club presents “APOCALYPSE” on August 7 in the casino’s Spotlight Showroom. The bouts feature a lineup of tough fighters from the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas and across the country. The night is complete with a special appearance by WEC Fighter Cub Swanson.

The card currently stands as follows:

Rico Gallardo 1-0 vs. John Morgan 0-0. Gallardo, from Cathedral City, had a performance that made front page news after his appearance in the last cage fight event at Spotlight 29 Casino

Steve Hargett (2-0) of Indio vs. Joe Nicholas (3-3) of Palm Desert

Gorge Valdez (1-0) of Coachella vs. Art Ramirez (1-0) of Riverside

Rigo Oropeza (1-0) of Indio vs. Chris Gruetsmacher 0-0

Ed West 10-4 vs. Del Hawkins

The Alliance matchmaker is putting the finishing touches on bouts between Reggie Orr (5-4) vs. Jon George (4-6) , Virgil Zwicker (2-1) vs. Abraham Espinoza (0-1) and will soon have fights for Mike Mirelez (3-1) of Palm Desert, Ben Ryan (1-0) of Palm Springs and Steve Swanson (0-0) Desert Hot Springs as well as James Wilks (3-2).
