3,000 Luminarias Encendidas para Representar a los 3,000 Bebés muertos por el Aborto todos los Días

El sábado 25 de enero se encendieron 3,000 luminarias en la Iglesia Bautista Central de El Centro, CA, en memoria de los 3,000 bebés muertos por aborto todos los días. Varios voluntarios comenzaron a organizar el escenario y las luminarias decoradas a mano dos horas antes del evento.
Durante 8 años consecutivos, Marty & Deby Ellet de Real Hope Center han organizado este evento en memoria de las víctimas inocentes del aborto y para orar por los afectados por el mismo, así como por un fin al aborto. “El aborto no sólo afecta al bebé; marca a la madre y hiere a la familia. Hay papás que quieren quedarse con sus bebés, pero cuando la madre no lo quiere, no tienen voz ni voto en ello, y ellos sufren por la pérdida de sus hijos también,” dijo Deby Ellet.
Se compartieron testimonios de esperanza. Historias personales de prueba y éxito. Betty Chandler del IV Life Center, una coalición de empresas y organizaciones sin fines de lucro en el Valle Imperial que representa la dignidad de toda la vida humana desde la concepción hasta la muerte natural, compartió algunas historias de éxito de madres que llegan a su centro pensando en tener un aborto, pero después de recibir educación, apoyo y esperanza, elegen la vida. IVLC está ubicado justo en frente de una clínica de Planned Parenthood.
Stacy Chandler de Lifted Up Living, una organización sin fines de lucro dedicada a educar, equipar y fomentar habilidades positivas para la vida positiva para el bienestar de hombres, mujeres y familias para vivir una vida positiva, llena de Cristo, también fue una de las oradoras compartiendo su testimonio personal.
KGBA 100.1 AM estuvo transmitiendo y apoyando este evento. Además estuvieron presentes los candidatos Provida Juan Hidalgo (Distrito 51 del Congreso) y América Figueroa (Distrito 56 de la Asamblea). “Estaba en Sacramento hace diez días, y la mayoría de los legisladores tienen carteles en sus puertas que apoyan a Planned Parenthood. Algunos de ellos incluso han eliminado el sello de la Legislatura de California y lo han reemplazado por un cartel que dice: ‘Esta oficina lucha por expandir y no prohibir a Planned Parenthood.’ Ciertamente ellos no representan al pueblo de California, sino a ese grupo de interés especiales”, dijo América Figueroa, candidata por el distrito 56.

 

On Saturday January 25th, 3,000 luminaries were lit at Central Baptist Church in El Centro, CA. in memory of the 3,000 babies killed by abortion every day. Several volunteers began setting up the stage and the hand decorated luminaries two hours before the event.
For 8 years in a row, Marty & Deby Ellet of Real Hope Center have hosted this event in remembrance of the innocent victims of abortion and to pray for those affected by it and for a stop to abortion. “Abortion doesn’t just affect the baby; it scars the mother and hurts the family. There are dads who want to keep their babies, but when the mother doesn’t want it, they don’t have a say in it, and they mourn for the loss of their children too” said Deby Ellet.
Testimonies of hope were shared. Personal stories of trial and success. Betty Chandler from the IV Life Center, a grassroots coalition of businesses and non-profit organizations in the Imperial Valley standing for the dignity of all human life from conception to natural death shared some success stories of moms who arrive at her center thinking of having an abortion, but after receiving education, support, and hope, choose life. IVCL is right across a Planned Parenthood clinic.
Stacy Chandler from Lifted Up Living a non-denominational faith based nonprofit dedicated to educating, equipping and encouraging positive life skills for the well-being of men, women and families to live a positive, productive Christ filled life, was also one of the speakers sharing her personal testimony.

Prolife candidates Juan Hidalgo (51st Congressional District) and America Figueroa (56th Assembly District), were also present. “I was just up in Sacramento ten days ago, and most legislators have posters on their doors supporting Planned Parenthood. Some of them have even removed the seal of the California Legislature and replaced it with a poster that reads ‘This office fights to expand, not ban Planned Parenthood.’ They certainly do not represent the people of California, but that special interest group,” said America Figueroa, candidate for the 56.
