The Voto Latino website dedicated to feeling the pulse of the Latino community has proven itself highly accurate by having projected the winners for the Coachella Valley major political races.

 Last week we reported the voting results cast over a two week period with over 7000 votes cast. Your predictions were amazingly accurate despite some very challenging, heated races such as the 80th Assembly District, the Indio City Council and the Coachella Mayors race. These contests could have gone either way. The 80th Assembly district changed from Republican to Democrat and the Indio City Council race saw a 15 year incumbent replaced by newcomer Glenn Miller. The Coachella Mayors race was hotly contested by a former Mayor, Jesse Villarreal. Your projections were as follows:
