Maggie Zepeda in her candidacy for Mayor of Coachella continues to move forward despite strong objections from the established political leadership who do not want a strong leader, woman on the council or as Mayor.
Zepeda is an educational professional at the college level and brings with her a fresh air of honesty and integrity much needed for Coachella which is on the verge of major expansion.
Coachella can be a prosperous and active city but for residents who have lived in Coachella for many years or all of their lives, prosperity evades them.
