JOHN MEALEY SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION Students presented with scholarships 11th of June  

Forty seven schoarships were presented to deserving students in an emotion filled day dedicated to the advancement of educational opportunities. Students receiveing the scholarships were selected from those deserving students who met two qualifing conditions. 1) the students had to live in housing built through the Coachella Valley Housing Coalition and 2) they had to have a good academic achievement history.

 The students recieving the scholarships were entering a college or university to prepare for a wide variety of professions including architecture, teaching, law school, business administration, nursing and liberal arts.

 Family members and their children were present at the ceremonies as the 47 scholarships were presented by John Mealey the Director of the Coachella Valley Housing Coalition and Pedro Rodriguez, CPA.

 Parents and family members alike expressed a deep sense of gratitude and pride as they came together in support of their recent high school graduates who were moving on to fullfill their life ambitions with the assistance of the Coachella Valley Housing Coalition.
