IYTF Presents Scholarships
Indio Youth Task Force honors youth

The Indio Youth Task Force held a breakfast ceremony at Heritage Palms CC, Thursday, June 25th. Eighteen students were recognized for their achievements and presented with scholarships to continue their education. Indio city leaders were present to officiate the ceremonies among them were Councilman Glenn Miller, Chief of Police Brad Ramos, Sherri Van Dorn, Benjamin Guitron, Pat Runyon and Harry Munoz chairman of IYTF.
Those honored were from the following high schools.
Indio High School: Alejandra Casillas, Eduardo Flemante,Jr., Cecillia Jimenez, Anna Reyna Acosta and Jesus Camarena.
Amistad High School: Rudy Mendez
Coachella High School: Zacariah Razo, Sara Kamoel, Gerardo A. Castaneda, Amanda Justine Garcia,
La Quinta High School: Brittany Lipe, Tatiana Tijerina, Sarah King, Matthew J. Ramirez, Ali Asgher Lanewala, Mariana Perez.
Desert Christian High School (CSOD)
