Four former mayors of Coachella endorse Jeandron

Jeandron draws support from Coachella

Gary Jeandron campaign for State Assembly announced the endorsement of four former mayors from the city of Coachella. The list includes:

Former Coachella Mayor, Ben Saiz,

Former Coachella Mayor, Juan De Lara,

Former Coachella Mayor, Lupe Dominguez,

Former Coachella Mayor, Jesse Villarreal

“You can definitely count on Gary to move this community forward. From his selfless commitment to the community throughout the years, he has demonstrated time and time again that he has the dedication that it takes to succeed at every level. He will not only move this community forward, but he will also protect the interests of our community in Sacramento,” said former Mayor Juan De Lara.

“Chief Jeandron has committed his life to protecting our community and he has done a great job of it. He will work to strengthen the economy, and improve education.” said former Mayor Jesse Villarreal.

The former mayors join the endorsement list for Jeandron which already includes more than 1000 individuals, local elected leaders and community organizations from around the district.

Gary Jeandron is vying for the seat to be vacated by termed-out Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia. The 80th Assembly District includes the cities of Indio, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, El Centro, Calexico, La Quinta, Coachella, Brawley, Desert Hot Springs, Blythe, Imperial, Calipatria, Holtville, and Westmorland.

Jeandron’s years of public service includes serving as Police Chief of Palm Springs as well as serving as a member of the School Board for the Palm Springs Unified School District. Jeandron is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and currently resides in Palm Springs with his wife, Vicki.
