Why Is Our Government Advocating For Iran?

Yesterday, President Obama announced that his plan to give over $7 BILLION TO IRAN in cash and repeal of sanctions will begin January 20th. The administration claims that in exchange Iran will promise to halt their nuclear weapons program but those claims are undermined by Iran’s own statements. On Sunday, Iran’s chief negotiator Abbas Araqchi said “No facility will be closed; enrichment will continue, and qualitative and nuclear research will be expanded…All research into a new generation of centrifuges will continue.”
We have to ask, what does the US get out of this deal? At this point we are simply handing Iran a public relations victory, along with $7 billion in cash and license to continue their nuclear program and in return we get nothing!
Many Senators aren’t buying into Obama’s scheme, even ones in his own party! A bipartisan coalition of 59 Senators (Republicans AND Democrats) have signed up to co-sponsor legislation to put new sanctions on Iran and hold their feet to the fire!
I recently contacted several key Senators expressing the doubts of the less naïve citizenry about Iran’s intentions. Iran’s belligerent rhetoric has been so consistent especially in regards to Israel that no one with half a brain should have any doubts they intend to move forward with nuclear weaponry. It is decidedly strange and out of character for the United States government to be advocating for Iran but that is precisely what this administration is doing. The response I received from Senator Diane Feinstein mirrors all Democrat responses I received. I understand there are A few Democrats who do not support her views but they must have been silenced since they did not respond. These are two paragraphs from Feinstein’s letter:

“It is clear economic sanctions have been successful in constraining Iran’s economy and putting enormous pressure on its political leaders. Iran’s ability to engage in international trade has been almost entirely halted, its banking sector has been cut off from financial markets, and its currency has been significantly devalued. Moreover, international unity in enforcing these sanctions has left Iran more isolated than ever before.” This is exactly what sanctions are supposed to do and a key part of blocking Iran from not only building nuclear weapons but from the destruction of Israel which they have vowed to do!
The irony of where the Democrat party stands and this administration is encapsulated in the following paragraph:” While no option should be removed from the table, I support diplomatic efforts to resolve concerns about Iran’s nuclear program, and I want to give the current Geneva talks led by the P5+1 countries (United States, China, Russia, United Kingdom, and France plus Germany) a chance to succeed.” Bear in mind America, Iran has NEVER honored ANY treaty in the past and for some God forsaken reason, this administration is hell bent on giving them the time needed to fully develop the arms necessary to destroy Israel. It boggles the mind trying to understand why the majority of Jews in the United States unquestionably support this administration and a political party advocating for Iran. What am I missing? There must be something American Jews see in regards to giving Iran a clear path towards Israel’s and world destruction which I totally do not! Whose side is America on? For all you on the sideline Christians, remember, Jesus was a Jew!
