Veterans Expo held Saturday

The 4th Annual Veterans Expo was held Saturday at the Riverside County Fairgrounds. The theme of the event was navigating veteran benefits.Booths were set up by community organization offering military assistance. There was music, entertainment and a mobile health center. Brian Nestande and several political representatives were present to lend support including former Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia now running for the State Senate in this area.
Photo taken at the event is of a group of local veterans awarded certificates of recognition for their outstanding contributions in assisting veterans and families. Sponsors included Time Warner Cable, the Gas Company and Humana among others.
