Al Vázquez not only transformed “La Prensa Hispana Newspaper” but changed our lives with his essence. His affable and harmonious personality that was manifested at all times. He detonated the genius and enlightened the life of his beloved wife in such a way that made it possible to highlight many other lives through the Hispanic Award recognizing and highlighting the merits of so many people worthy of receiving them and urging them to continue being an example for their community. Always emphasizing their achievements in the Hispanic community. Man of good and of great knowledge but above all, of great wisdom. Better person could not be in front of this newspaper because of his great knowledge and understanding of local and national political life. He was a gentleman, who enjoyed himself immensely in the after-dinner, with coffee and dessert that made the conversation sweeter when talking about his immense experience of life that always resulted in learning. His great loves: Ana, Justin, Jeremy, Jonathan and Ignacio whom he transformed from the bottom of their hearts, evolving them in their own essences to be hardworking and good people. I know, because I saw them grow up. I witnessed from a very young age what they were and what they have become. Geniuos wife and responsible and loving children. His legacy lies in the hearts of all the people who had the privilege of knowing him, treating him and learning from him without forgetting to mention so many pets that he cared for and loved. I do not say goodbye my dear Al, but see you soon. Because there is no doubt in my heart that we will sit down again and share the dessert, as we always did.

Al Vázquez no solo transformó La prensa Hispana sino cambió nuestras vidas con su esencia. Su personalidad afable y armónica que se manifestaba en todo momento. Detonó la genialidad e Iluminó la vida de su querida esposa de tal manera que hicieron posible el destacar muchas otras vidas a través del Hispanic Award reconociendo y resaltando los méritos de tantas personas dignas de recibirlos e instándolos a seguir siendo un ejemplo para su comunidad. Siempre enfatizando los logros de estos en la comunidad hispana. Hombre de bien y de gran conocimiento pero sobre todo, de gran sabiduría.
Mejor persona no pudo estar frente de este periódico por su gran conocimiento y entendimiento sobre la vida política local y nacional. Era un caballero, a quien se disfrutaba inmensamente en la sobremesa, con café y postre que hacían que la conversación se endulzara al charlar de su inmensa experiencia de vida que siempre resultaba en un aprendizaje. Sus grandes amores: Ana, Justin, Jeremy, Jonathan e Ignacio a quienes transformó desde el fondo de sus corazones, evolucionándolos en sus propias esencias a ser personas trabajadoras y de bien. Lo sé, porque los vi crecer. Fui testigo desde muy joven de lo que eran y en lo que convirtieron. Esposa genial e hijos responsables y amorosos. Su legado yace en el corazón de todas las personas que tuvimos el privilegio de conocerlo, tratarlo y aprender de él sin dejar de mencionar a tantas mascotas a las que tanto cuidó y amó. No me despido mi querido Al, sino hasta pronto. Porque no hay duda en mi corazón que volveremos a sentarnos a compartir el postre, como siempre solíamos hacerlo.
