Time Warner Cable brings San Diego padres baseball to the desert

More than 140 Padres games will be available on Channel 27

Palm Desert, CA

Spring is in the air and that means that baseball season is right around the corner. Time Warner Cable has great news for our customers. Starting February 13, Channel 4 San Diego –– which carries more than 140 San Diego Padres baseball games each season –– will now be available in the Coachella Valley on channel 27.

This programming addition comes just in time for Coachella Valley customers to watch the Padres celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2009.

All Time Warner Cable customers with at least the Advantage cable service level will be able to watch all available Padres games on channel 27, only on Time Warner Cable.

“Time Warner Cable is proud to be the television home for the San Diego Padres in the Desert,” said Tad Yo, VP/GM for Time Warner Cable’s Desert Cities system.

“We’re excited to give Padres fans living in the Coachella Valley greater access to their favorite team’s games,” said Yo. “Fans can look forward to viewing more than 140 games in 2009.”
