Target Opens a
New SuperTarget in Indio
Sunday, October 12th
MINNEAPOLIS Target® opens a new SuperTarget in Indio. The new SuperTarget aims to make shopping for groceries and household essentials fun and easy. In addition, this SuperTarget will add value to the surrounding community by adding jobs and purchasing goods and services from local vendors.
What differentiates SuperTarget from other retailers and grocers is its ability to bring everything into one convenient location. The layout allows guests to easily transition from the grocery to the general merchandise aisles and visit a number of services for their lifestyle needs including Target Pharmacy, Target Optical and Starbucks®.
“The new SuperTarget brings a long tradition of community giving and our one-stop-shop philosophy to the Indio community,” said Bernie Weis, of Target. “We place a priority on hiring locally and creating new jobs for Indio residents.”
The Indio SuperTarget will be one of the first SuperTargets in the area. We would like to thank city officials for their support in bringing this SuperTarget to the community. The store was designed in the Legereto style, which gracefully expresses the themes of the low desert.
