Salton City Fire Station Stands Watch During Holidays

A/C Steve Clifford and FF Eric Allen of the Salton Community Service District Fire Department volunteered to be on duty during the Thanksgiving holiday week-end. There is much activity in this desert community anytime there are a few extra hours to cruise the open desert in a wide variety of off road vehicles. Fire Departments serve the community in many ways which include fire prevention, safety, first-aide, information, rescue operations and of course putting out fires. The community thanks A/C Clifford and FF Allen for their dedication and service to the community. There are other photos on page six showing a gathering of RV’s and off-roaders’ as they start to arrive the day before any holiday.
