Riverside County Sheriff Stan Sniff Supports Jeandron for Assembly
Today, Chief Gary Jeandron announced the endorsement of Riverside County Sheriff Stan Sniff in his campaign for Assembly.
In his endorsement Sheriff Sniff cited Jeandron’s “three decades of committed service” to law enforcement.
“In the Assembly, Gary Jeandron will be a strong, experienced voice for public safety. Three decades of committed service makes him the clear choice to represent us in Sacramento,” stated Sheriff Stan Sniff. “From top to bottom, he knows what is needed to keep our communities safe.”
Gary Jeandron is vying for the seat to be vacated by termed-out Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia. The 80th Assembly District includes the cities of Indio, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, El Centro, Calexico, La Quinta, Coachella, Brawley, Desert Hot Springs, Blythe, Imperial, Calipatria, Holtville, and Westmorland.
Jeandron’s years of public service include being Police Chief of Palm Springs as well as serving as a member of the School Board for the Palm Springs Unified School District. Jeandron is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and currently resides in Palm Springs with his wife, Vicki.
