Republican Women give $10,000 to Youth

The Monday event put on by East Valley Republican Women at Desert Falls Country Club was to give away over $10,000 worth of checks to High School Students in the Eastern Coachella Valley. Many of these students have 4.8 and over a 5.0 grade average. Another part of the Scholarship program is sending kids to the Ronald Reagan Ranch in Santa Barbara. This is a $2500.00 Scholarship and the students are told by their counselors that they can apply directly with East Valley Republican Women. This June there will be 7 High School Students from Desert Mirage and Shadow Hills High Schools. There is also an IPO program that was initiated by the club last year. 2 to 3 students who attend the Reagan Ranch , if they qualify, will have the opportunity to have meetings and discussion with business owners, Senators, Stock Brokers and many other prominent resources and as they do, shares will be sold in their future at $10.00 each. This year a check was presented to 2 students, one for $1850 & one for $1760. which was all purchased by people throughout Riverside County who met and heard these kids talk of what they were learning about Conservative Values.
