Rancho Mirage councilman hosts packed enent for jeandron

With more than 80 community supporters in attendance, Rancho Mirage Councilman Alan Seaman hosted an event for Gary Jeandron at the home of community leaders, Thom and Iris Smotrich, on Thursday, October 25th. The event was Jeandron’s second in two weeks displaying Jeandron’s strong grassroots support throughout the district in his campaign for Assembly.

“I have been very humbled by the number of supporters that have shown up at each event,” said Jeandron. “Just two weeks ago I had an event that had more than 100 attendees and this week I had another event that had more than 80. I am excited that the community is turning out in such large numbers to help us achieve our fundraising goals.”

Gary Jeandron is running to replace Bonnie Garcia in the Assembly. The District includes the cities of Indio, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, El Centro, Calexico, La Quinta, Coachella, Brawley, Desert Hot Springs, Blythe, Imperial, Calipatria, Holtville, and Westmorland. Assemblywoman Garcia is prohibited from running for re-election due to term limits.

Jeandron’s service as the Police Chief of Palm Springs is coupled with his role as a member of the School Board for the Palm Springs Unified School District. He currently resides in Palm Springs with his wife Vicki.
