Padres Alrededor de California Declaran: “Si No Podemos Cambiar la Ley, Si Podemos Cambiar a los Legisladores.”

Un planton y una protesta muy bien planeados se realizaran el jueves 19 de septiembre en todo California. El planton organizado por el grupo Alianza Para Proteger a los Niños (Alliance To Protect Children) ha comprobado estar aliado con varios otros grupos y organizaciones. Elizabeth Johnston, la Mami Activista (The Activist Mommy), ha proporcionado fuerte apoyo al grupo y les ha ayudado a promover el planton por medio de su ministerio. En su Comunicado de Prensa vemos tambien a organizaciones como California Family Council, For Kids & Country y Protect Our Kids Now proporcionando su apoyo a esta coalision estatal.
Los padres de California no enviaran a sus hijos a ninguna escuela de gobierno (publica/charter), y se estaran manifestando en protesta por las leyes progresivas que atacan a los niños y desestiman sus derechos de padres. Ellos han tratado de trabajar con los distritos, el Departamento Estatal de Educación, y los legisladores de CA para detener la dañina distribución de la Educación de Sexualidad Integral a través de la AB 329. Aún cuando unos cuantos distritos escolares han ofrecido algo de apoyo a los padres, no ha sido suficiente y al final todos les dan la misma respuesta: “la AB 329 es la ley, temenos que obedecerla, si tienen un problema necesitan llevarlo a Sacramento. ”Las manifestaciones estan programadas para cada oficina de Distrito de la Asamblea en California de 9:00 AM a 12:00 PM. Al momento de este articulo, mas de 40 condados en el estado ya habian confirmado su participación en el Plantón.
“Los legisladores continúan proponiendo leyes que limitan nuestras opciones como podres y extienden los mandatos de la AB 329. Les hemos pedido que hagan algo y lo unico que nos dicen es que la ley ya no se puede repeler y que no pueden hacer nada al respect. Tambien vimos la inconformidad de los padres con la SB 276, cientos de padres en Sacramento rogando por su derecho a elegir, ¿le import a los legisladores? No. ¿Le importó al gobernadora? No, de todas formas la firmó. ¿Les importaron las 3 veces que estuvimos en Sacramento manifestandonos en contra de la AB 329? Tampoco. Estamos convocando a una Revolución de Padres. Vamos a decirlo una vez mas: ¡Nuestros hijos no pertenecen al estado!. Nuestros ojos han sido abiertos y ahora si sabemos lo que temenos que hacer. ¡Si no Podemos cambiar las leyes, si cambiaremos a los legisladores!” declaró America Figueroa, lider y vocera official de ATPC.

 

A well planned sit out and protest is scheduled for Thursday September 19 all throughout California. The sit out organized by the grassroots Alliance To Protect Children has truly proved to be in alliance with several other grassroots and organizations. Elizabeth Johnston, the Activist Mommy, has provided strong support to the group and helped promote the sit out through her ministry. In their Press Release we also see organizations such as California Family Council, For Kids & Country and Protect Our Kids Now are providing their support to this statewide coalition.
California parents will not be sending their children to any government school (public/charter), and instead they will be rallying in protest for the progressive legislations attacking children and undermining parental rights. They have tried to work with the districts, the State Department of Education and CA legislators to stop the harmful distribution of Comprehensive Sexuality Education through AB 329. Even though a few school districts have offered parents some degree of support, it hasn’t been enough and in the end they all give parents the same answer: “AB 329 is the law, we have to follow it, if you have a problem you need to take it to Sacramento.” The rallies are scheduled to occur at every District Assembly office in California from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. At the time of this article, over 40 counties in the state had already confirmed their participation in the Sit Out.
“Legislators continue to propose laws limiting our options as parents and expanding the mandate of AB 329. We’ve asked them to do something and all they say is the law cannot be repealed and they can’t do anything about it. We also saw the parental outrage with SB 276, hundreds of parents up in Sacramento pleading for their right to choose, did the legislators care? No. Did the governor care? No, he still signed it. Did they care about the 3 times we protested in Sacramento? No, they didn’t. We are calling out for a Parental Revolution. We are going to say it once again: Our Children do not belong to the State! Our eyes have been opened and now we know what to do. If we can’t change the legislation, we will change the legislators!” said America Figueroa, ATPC leader and official spokesperson.
