Padilla’s Coachella-Indio Tire & Automotive Repair Awards Five Scholarships

In an awards ceremony held on Thursday, May 25th, five students were awarded $1,000 scholarships to pursue their education. The scholarships were made possible by the generosity of Ruben, Steve, Ernie and Bobby Padilla associated with Padilla’s Coachella-Indio Tire and Automotive Repair. They were assisted in their endeavor by Raul Lopez, Director of Transportation, at Coachella Valley High School, Cheryl Noall, Director of Secondary Education and Rick Alvarez, Assistant Superintendent, Administrative Services.

Recipients of the awards were Abraham Ramirez who will attend the University of California, Santa Barbara, Clara Rodriguez will attend the University of California, Irvine, Isaac Saenz will attend the University of California, Davis, Kendra Trevino will attend California State University, Fullerton, and Jennie Vasquez who will attend the University of Redlands.
