Nuestra Salud Podría Estar en Riesgo

Nuestros niños no pertenecen en registros que los rastrearan de por vida. Nuestras comunidades y nuestros hijos están enfermos.  Tenemos preguntas y queremos respuestas. Esa es la misión de la organización Latinos por la Libertad Médica (LMF), fundada por Carina Powers y Vanessa Madrid, para ayudar a corregir este mal.
LMF está trabajando para derrotar la Propuesta de Ley SB276. Una ley que está avanzando rápidamente en la Asamblea de California. La propuesta fijada que focaliza a niños vulnerables de California.   La SB276 propone que las excepciones médicas a las vacunas sean casi imposibles de obtener. ¡La SB 276 obliga a los padres a poner los registros médicos de sus hijos en una base de datos que los pondrá en desventaja y los discriminará de por vida!
Carina Powers afirma, “ si en algún momento un niño tiene una reacción a una vacuna que concierne al doctor o al padre, la SB276 no permitiría al doctor usar su propio juicio para recomendar retardar o alterar la cantidad de vacunas que debería recibir su hijo. Al niño no se le concederá una excepción medica completa por lo que sería excluido de cualquier tipo de guardería, preescolar o educación del Kínder al 12, sea pública o privada.
Si nuestros legisladores votan a favor de la SB276 y es firmada por el gobernador, las familias de California tendrán opciones extremadamente limitadas para proteger a sus hijos más vulnerables: vacunar aun en contra de las recomendaciones médicas, o ser obligado a mudarse fuera de California, o permanecer en California, y educar en el hogar (homeschool).  “Nuestras familias no pueden solventar ninguna de estas “opciones,” dice Vanessa Madrid.
Denise Aguilar, vocera de LMF agrega: “sabemos que muchos en la comunidad Latina son indocumentados y se preocupan por las redadas del ICE. Los funcionarios de California nos dicen una y otra vez que están aquí para protegernos. Sin embargo, cuando políticos como Lorena González Coescriben la propuesta SB276, están poniendo a nuestros hijos en riesgo.”
No hay absolutamente ninguna enmienda que arregle esta Propuesta de Ley.  Nuestros hijos no pertenecen en los registros del gobierno y si merecen algo mejor que la SB276.
Queremos que sepas que aun si no eres fluyente en el idioma ingles o si eres indocumentado, es seguro llamar al Gobernador en apoyo a los niños y comunidades. Tu voz y tu historia son importantes.

Our children do not belong in Databases to be tracked for life! Our communities and our children are sick.  We have questions and we want answers. It is the mission of Latinos for Medical Freedom (LMF), founded by Carina Powers and Vanessa Madrid, to help right this wrong.
LMF is working to defeat SB276, a bill that is moving quickly through CA government targeting vulnerable children in our state.   SB276 makes medical exemption from vaccination almost impossible to obtain.  SB276 forces parents to put their children’s private medical records into a tracking database that will disadvantage and discriminate against them for life!
Carina Powers states: “If at any point a child has a reaction to a vaccination that concerns the doctor or parent, SB276 would not allow the doctor to use their professional judgment to slow down or alter the quantity or timing of the standardized vaccine schedule. The child would not be granted a full medical exemption and would then be excluded from any type of public or private daycare, preschool or K-12 education.”
If our legislators vote yes and SB276 is signed in to law by our Governor, California families will be faced with extremely limiting options for their most vulnerable children: vaccinate against the parent and doctor’s judgment, or be forced to move out of California, or stay in California, and homeschool. “Our families can’t afford any of these so called “choices”, says Vanessa Madrid.
Denise Aguilar, LMF Ambassador adds, “We know that many in the Latino community are undocumented and worry about ICE raids. California officials tell us over and over again that they are here to protect us. However, when politicians like Lorena Gonzalez co-author SB276 they are putting our children at risk.”
There are absolutely no amendments that can fix this bill.  Our children do not belong in databases.  And all children deserve better than SB276.
We want you to know, even if you are not fluent in English or if you are undocumented, it is safe for you to call the Governor on behalf of your children and our communities. Your voice matters. Your story matters.
