Native Film Fest a Success
Presented by Agua Caliente Cultural Museum
The Native Film Fest held March 4-9 at the Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs was well attended and featured the best films by and about or starring Native Americans as well as other native people. Elizabeth Weatherford, Director, Film and Video Center, Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian was the guest programmer.
The festival was presented by the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum. Film enthusiasts and supporters attended opening ceremonies and several films throughout the six day run. The Native Film Fest is becoming a yearly tradition for the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum and every year it gets better and better .
