conference focusing on:

Nutrition and Colon Cancer

Breast Cancer early detection (including breast self

examination instruction with breast models)

Blood cancers (leukemia and lymphoma expert)

Cancer Legal Resource Center (health insurance,

government benefits, employment issues)

Survivor panel

WHAT: “Colores del Cancer/ Colors of Cancer,” is open to all those

concerned with public health among the Latino community

Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death

among Hispanic men and the third leading cause of

cancer among Hispanic women.

Leukemia is the most common cancer in Hispanic children

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among

Hispanic women
