Liderazgo con Corazón

Nuestra líder comunitaria de esta semana se podría describir con el siguiente párrafo:
TRABAJA mientras otros duermen,
ESTUDIA mientras otros se divierten,
PERSISTE mientras otros descansan, y
Luego VIVIRÁS lo que otros SÓLO SUEŇAN…

Verónica Guzmán es una educadora que lleva su labor más allá del salón de clases. Su área de estudio ha sido la Educación Especial y en mayo del 2021 se graduó del Colegio del Desierto con su Asociado de Artes en Educación Temprana.
Verónica trabaja para el Distrito Escolar del Valle de Coachella con un grupo de estudiantes que le dan fortaleza, aprendizaje y deseos de hacer más por ellos, ya que la inspiran al mirar su progreso académico, habilidades sociales y desarrollo de lenguaje entre otras cosas.
Su día comienza cuando la mayoría de nosotros estamos acostados, a las 2:30 a.m.; distribuye periódicos a quienes todavía deleitan sus mañanas con una deliciosa taza de café bajo un bello, caluroso y resplandeciente amanecer en el Valle de Coachella mientras se mantienen informados.
Ella es modesta, humilde, y dedicada a hacer la diferencia en las vidas de niños y [jóvenes] adultos. Su pasión de ser padre adoptivo por años ha impactado muchas vidas, familias, y la comunidad. Su trabajo es arduo ya que ella camina con cada nuevo miembro de su familia y trabajando juntos construyen alternativas de superación, crecimiento personal y la oportunidad de ser una versión de sí mismos. Verónica aplaude los esfuerzos que cada uno hace para superar un pasado, el dolor, y la incertidumbre de un futuro incierto ya que ella les brinda un hogar, una familia y mucho amor para revertir toda experiencia en una nueva oportunidad.

Verónica Guzmán is an educator who takes her work beyond the classroom. Her area of ​​study has been Special Education and in May 2021 she graduated from College of the Desert with her Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education.
Veronica works for the Coachella Valley School District with a group of students who give her strength, learning and desire to do more for them, as they inspire her by looking at her academic progress, social skills, and language development among other things.
Her day begins when most of us are in bed, at 2:30 a.m.; she distributes newspapers to those who still delight in their mornings with a delicious cup of coffee under a beautiful, hot, blazing sunrise in the Coachella Valley while staying informed.
She is modest, humble, and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and [young] adults. Her passion for being a foster parent for years has impacted many lives, families, and the community. Her work is hard as she walks with each new member of her family and working together, they build alternatives for self-improvement, personal growth, and the opportunity to be a version of themselves. Verónica applauds the efforts that each one makes to overcome a past, the pain, and the uncertainty, since she gives them a home, a family and a lot of love to turn all experiences into a new opportunity.
