Líderes Mundiales:
La semana pasada, los estudiantes de preparatorias públicas y privadas fueron felicitados localmente por David Muir, un reconocido periodista y presentador de noticias a nivel nacional que felicitó muy en especial a los estudiantes de Coachella Valley High School.
De antemano, felicidades para todo estudiante que terminó sus estudios de preparatorias. Ahora tomarán una decisión importante en qué sentido le darán a sus vidas. Hay dos opciones, transferirse a la Universidad (privada o pública), o asistir al colegio comunitario. Una decisión importante que marcará sus futuros académicos y su porvenir como ciudadano. Ante la crisis actual de salud; la pandemia del covid-19. De acuerdo a EdSource, El sistema de las 23 universidades del estado de California, mejor conocido como CSU, han anunciado continuar con casi todos sus estudios en línea. La excepción será para clases con laboratorio y enfermería, pero con restricciones. Esta decisión es debido al posible regreso de este virus en el otoño e invierno. La incertidumbre de cuándo y cómo será el regreso a un campus, es totalmente incierto debido a la falta de estudios científicos que arrojen estadísticas sobre cómo se comportará el virus en el futuro. Sin embargo, la prioridad de todo rector, institución, y líder académico es proveer un ambiente sano y seguro para sus estudiantes, personal y facultad.
Está decisión puede beneficiar o perjudicar a quienes ya habían hecho planes de mudarse donde se encontrará su universidad. Cualquiera que sea la decisión, la oportunidad de tomar ventaja sobre clase en línea puede ser una buena opción. Por una parte, no hay gastos de vivienda, transportación, o comida; y por la otra parte, su habilidad de independizarse y desarrollar responsabilidades será limitadas. Los colegios comunitarios proveen estudios generales que pueden a aliviar gastos y estrés.

Last week, public and private high school students were congratulated locally by David Muir, a renowned journalist and news anchor nationwide who especially congratulated Coachella Valley High School students.
Beforehand, congratulations to every student who finished their high school studies. Now they will make an important decision in what they’re going to hit their lives. There are two options, transfer to the University (private or public), or attend community college. An important decision that will mark your future academics and your future as a citizen. In the face of the current health crisis; covid-19 pandemic. According to EdSource, the system of California’s 23 universities, better known as CSU, have announced to continue with almost all their studies online. The exception will be for classes with lab and nursing, but with restrictions. This decision is due to the possible return of this virus in the autumn and winter. The uncertainty of when and how the return to a campus will be, is totally uncertain due to the lack of scientific studies that yield statistics on how the virus will behave in the future. However, the priority of every rector, institution, and academic leader is to provide a healthy and safe environment for their students, staff, and faculty.
This decision can benefit or harm those who have already made plans to move where their university will be. Whatever the decision, the opportunity to take advantage over online class can be a good option. On the one hand, there are no housing, transportation, or food expenses; and on the other hand, their ability to become independent and develop responsibilities will be limited. Community colleges provide general studies that can relieve expenses and stress.
