Dear
world leaders,
Having a discipline to carry out daily tasks is essential for personal and professional development. Alfred Edward Perlman said, “Once you do one thing over and over for two years, look at it carefully; after five years, look at it with suspicion; and after ten years, throw it aside and start again.” Human beings like physical, mental and emotional comfort where we don’t have to work hard. Where the results are with little effort and a lot of gain. But does this process, method, and strategy provide essential results that lead to permanent success, or just temporary?
Discipline is like goals, if not practiced consistently, they do not yield positive results. This process of plotting our lives with elements and patterns related to habits is important when making decisions. The background to a problem or routine serves as the basis for building strong, solid, and necessary foundations for change, growth, and success. This triumph is not mental but realistic in how we chart the paths of success.
After performing the same routine for a certain time, it is necessary to evaluate the position, the benefits, the teachings, the work environment, past, current and future opportunities and concentrate your energies on how you are doing. If you’ve gotten used to the routine, it would be more appropriate to change it. Make the decision to browse and explore new experiences where your accumulated knowledge in this time helps you find new and innovative challenges. Where you can learn new things and connect them through your previous knowledge.
Where you see a new reality with growth to learn and teach. It is there where the challenge is not to change, but to accept change and what it produces.
If going to work, is an effort rather than a pleasure. If mental fatigue outweighs the enthusiasm to smile, then you are in the process of a change. Change brings new experiences that underpin the daily routine.
Do a self-assessment of your professional life and analyze how much pleasure or routine your workdays consume. There’s nothing better than enjoying the job and serving others!
In the meantime, I invite you to keep writing your next story!
