Indio Opens Emergency Operations Center at Management Watch Level – Closes Teen and Senior Centers

Indio, California

In response to the Swine Flu situation, the City of Indio has activated its Emergency Operations Center at a Management Watch.

Management Watch will consist of a team from the City Manager’s Executive Management Staff that will monitor the situation in Indio. The center will be located in City Hall and be operational from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Additionally, in response to a request by the Riverside County Health Department, the City has closed its Teen and Senior Centers until further notice.
