The Indio Old Town Street Fest has become an exciting place for locals the first Tuesday of each month. This week, motorcycle races reve’d up the fans as they watched dare-devil stunts which munching on their favorite street fest cuisine. The weather has been fantastic and each month, locals are marking their calendars for a night of music, games, shopping, favorite food booths including Willie’s Bar-b-que, shrimp cocktails or fresh coffee with churros. Join us for another night of fun on March 11th.
In the meantime, don’t forget the 8th Indio International Hispanic Film Festival at the Indio Performing Arts Center on Fargo Street in Old Town going from Thursday, February 21st through Sunday, February 24th. Over 25 award winning films will be shown in both Spanish and English. Call 775-5200 for ticket information. There will be an Art Gallery exhibit and music.
