Grant gives local Children New Books

Children from Cathedral City Elementary School received special gifts of two new books each from Read With Me, a nonprofit organization devoted to changing the lives of disadvantaged local students. A total of 1500 books were given out to elementary schools throughout the Coachella Valley. $10,000 went towards the purchase of new books out of a $22,000 grant from the Anderson Children’s Foundation.
