Desert Mirage High School Boys Soccer Team to Be Honored at CVUSD Board Meeting

Thermal, Calif. – The Board of Trustees and Superintendent Adams are proud to announce the Desert Mirage High School Boys Soccer team and Coach Peter Zamora, as the 2016 CIF Regional Division V Champions.
On Saturday, March 12, the team clinched the coveted title and made school district history by winning every single game of their season, ending with a perfect 26 and 0 record.
“The boys’ soccer team achieved a perfect season in all aspects of the game. They showed motivation, dedication, hard work and team work. We couldn’t be prouder of our Desert Mirage Boys Soccer team Coach Zamora, and the entire coaching staff for their major accomplishment,” said Superintendent Adams.
A ceremony celebrating the team’s achievement will be held at the Thursday, March 17, school board meeting at Desert Mirage High School (86150 66th Avenue, Thermal 92274) starting at 6:30 p.m. We invite the school community to join us in congratulating our very deserving student athletes and coaching staff on their CIF Regional V Championship title!
