Deplorable’s Chalk Up Big Win
The Trump victory to a great extent reflects the awakened attitude of the electorate towards power and powerlessness. Millions of constituents although not given the credit for the observation stewed in silence as one particular branch of government, the Executive Branch, stridently changed our nation through sheer obstinacy and a slew of questionable executive orders. When election results are shown by counties on a national map, red representing Republicans dominates with sporadic blue spots.
While the counts have not yet been made official, certain data stands out. The Hispanic vote for Trump on average was 29-30%. White women who Democrats believed they had a strangle hold on voted for Trump at a rate of 55%. Analysis of the data will take time but analysis of the election results is clear! The electorate is fed up with our creeping roll towards socialism, open borders, importation of jobs to foreign nations and monetarily supporting Muslim nations who have the conquest of America as one of their prime goals. The electorate has experienced two four year terms of a presidency whose arbitrary, questionable legality and unconstitutional rule tended to reduce our democratic choice. Our congressional representatives in some regards due to poor opposition party leadership were held captive with futility along with the rest of the nation. Establishment Republicans who refused to support the Republican standard bearer, Trump, should be held accountable for holding their own personal goals ahead of the nation. Paul Ryan, Republican House leader came to the Trump side two days before the election. The title “leader” is either misplaced or a misnomer. Establishment Republicans including the Bush’s, Ohio’ Kasich, Romney and a slew of Republican representatives came very close to destroying their own party. Anyone who seeks to serve himself to the exclusion of our nation serves no one, not even himself and in the end serves the increasingly socialistic opposition.
The leaders of our nation are never anything more than a philosophy expressed in actions. When the countries direction begins to go counter to the founding principles, the electorate must get involved, change direction, correct course before we loosen the bolts of democracy which holds us together. Make no mistake about it, this was a historical election. A election which will set our national course for decades.
Over the past eight years, American progressives have managed successfully to import to the general public a perverted sense of morality forever advocating short term gains at the expense of losing personal freedoms. Reality is expected to bend to fit good intentions. Regardless of whether we are speaking of at birth abortions, only certain lives matter, the rampant opening the doors to illicit drugs or the elimination of national borders, we have reached the crisis point where reevaluating our national intent must be a priority for the successful evolution of our society. Setting our sights on stable economic policies, the return of full time employment, the safety of our nation! That is what the election of Trump signals.
In the coming days, we will begin to analyze data which reflects where we as a nation made the sudden shift towards “ Making America Great Again”. The next few weeks will begin setting the course of who our department head leaders will be, the agenda for the first hundred days and the uncovering of skeletons from the previous administration.
