College of the Desert classes still available for spring semester at all campuses

PALM DESERT, CA—Classes in several fields of study and General Education Classes are still available for the Spring Semester at all College of the Desert (COD) campuses. COD has campuses located in Palm Desert, Indio, and Mecca/Thermal and offers courses in several Western Valley locations.
PALM DESERT:  The main Palm Desert Campus located at 43500 Monterey Ave. still has classes available in Health Sciences, Theatre Arts, Computer Information Systems, Administration of Justice, Automotive Technology, Fire Technology, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems Technology, and Building Inspection Technology. INDIO CAMPUS: You can earn your Associate of Arts Degree in Indio. The Indio Campus is located at 45524 Oasis St. Students who are prepared to take college-level English and math will be offered a two-year package of courses to enable them to complete an AA degree in Liberal Arts that will also satisfy the CSU transfer requirements. Indio classes still available for Spring Semester include: Administration of Justice, Business, Early Childhood Education, Anthropology and Art.
Students enrolled in classes at the Indio Campus have access to counseling, registration, assistance and financial aid. Eastern valley students may also receive any of these services on the main campus in Palm Desert. The Indio Campus is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. For more information call (760) 776-7200.
MECCA/THERMAL – Daytime credit classes are offered at Mecca/Thermal located at 61120 Buchanan. There is still availability in Administration of Justice, Business, Early Childhood Education, English, Math and Speech. For more information call (760) 396-2010.
WEST VALLEY: West Valley locations still have open seats in Health Sciences, English, Anthropology, Early Childhood Education, Political Science and Speech classes. These are offered at Desert Hot Springs High School located at 65850 Pierson Blvd., Palm Springs High School located at 2401 E. Baristo Rd. and Cathedral City High School on Dinah Shore Drive. For more information call (760) 776-7200. Sunline Line 20 bus service from Desert Hot Springs to COD is now effective.
Registration for the Spring Semester is now open for all returning and new students at all locations. The last day to add classes is Feb. 8, 2016. Spring Semester begins on Feb. 1, 2016 and ends on May 27, 2016. The full class schedule is available on the College website.
