Chalk in the Square
Students from currently interning at the Coachella Valley Art Center in Indio got to hear first hand from world class chalk artist Bijan Masoumpanah and Jose Noe Hernandez about the importance of art in the community. Bijan’s chalk portrait of a young Native American girl captured the harts of onlookers and Jose’s Renaissance inspired piece was a crowd favorite.
