California le ha Fallado a Nuestra Niñez

Como era de esperarse, el gobernador Gavin Newsom firmó la ley SB 145, la cual entrará en vigor y extenderá protecciones a adultos de hasta 24 años que sodomicen a menores entre los 14 y 17 años. Si, usted ha leído bien. Esta aberración recibió el apoyo de legisladores demócratas e independientes, así como de grupos del lobby LGBT y entrará en vigor muy pronto en California.
El Asambleista Chad Mayes (I) fue el voto decisivo para que esta ley fuese aprobada; de hecho, si su voto se hubiera mantenido en oposición como había sido anteriormente, este proyecto de ley habría fallado y muerto ahí mismo. En su discurso de apoyo ante el Pleno de la Asamblea, Mayes dijo haber cambiado su postura acerca de este proyecto después de pedir consejo de parte de los Fiscales de los condados de Riverside y San Bernardino. Esta excusa carece de sentido alguno ya que el fiscal del Condado de Riverside es reconocido por su mano dura en contra del tráfico sexual y abuso de menores. ¿Será que el Fiscal Mike Hestrin ha cambiado su postura o estará Chad Mayes mintiendo abiertamente? Hasta el momento, el Fiscal Hestrin no ha liberado ningún comunicado de prensa aceptando o desmintiendo lo dicho por Mayes.
Los Asambleístas Eduardo García (D) y Ben Hueso (D) inicialmente votaron a favor permitiendo que el proyecto de ley siguiera avanzando, pero como es común en ellos cuando un proyecto de ley es controversial, en lugar de dar su voto en oposición a la SB145, ambos decidieron simplemente abstenerse de votar; en realidad esta acción de parte de ambos no sorprende ya que si verificamos sus registros de votación podemos ver que este es un patrón que ellos siguen muy frecuentemente. Respecto a su falta de valor para proteger a los niños y votar en contra de esta ley, ninguno de los dos ha hecho declaraciones abiertas.
La Senadora Melissa Meléndez (R) se pronunció abiertamente en contra del proyecto de ley respondiendo abiertamente en redes sociales al Senador Scott Weiner, autor de la SB145 “Se exactamente lo que dice este proyecto de ley porque lo leí. Estás tratando de normalizar el sexo con niños y no te voy a permitir salirte con la tuya.”
El senador Weiner, así como diversos medios de comunicación y el lobby LGBT que defienden esta ley, alegan que es una ley de “Equidad” porque el código penal ya da discreción al juez para catalogar como delito menor el sexo pene-vagina entre un menor de 14 a 17 y un adulto no mayor de 24 y no exigir que este se registre como “ofensor sexual,” y que ellos lo único que están haciendo es extender esa misma provisión para quien tenga sexo anal con un menor.
Curiosamente, el Senador Weiner es autor de leyes que han sido aprobadas y que ahora marcan un patrón que nos deja cuestionándonos sobre la verdadera agenda escondida de este senador, y sobre cuantos legisladores mas estarán “involucrados” con el y por lo tanto han apoyado estas leyes. Echemos un simple vistazo a sus leyes y quienes las han apoyado:
La SB 239 redujo de Crimen a Delito Menor el infectar intencionalmente de VIH a una persona y eliminó la obligación de notificar al donar sangre que una persona tiene VIH. Ben Hueso (D) y Eduardo García (D) votaron a favor, Chad Mayes (I) se abstuvo de votar, y Melissa Meléndez (R) votó en contra. La ley se aprobó y entró en vigor en el 2018.
La SB 384 reemplaza el requisito del sistema de registro universal de por vida existente en California para delincuentes sexuales con un sistema basado en niveles. Ben Hueso (D) y Eduardo García (D) votaron a favor, Chad Mayes (I) y Melissa Meléndez (R) votaron en contra. La ley entrará en vigor el 1 de enero del 2021.
SB 132 permitirá que los reos que dicen ser transgénero sean encarcelados según su identidad de género y no su sexo biológico. Ben Hueso (D) y Chad Mayes (I) votaron a favor, Eduardo García (D) inicialmente votó a favor para que el proyecto avanzara y en el Pleno de la Asamblea se abstuvo de votar. Melissa Meléndez (R) votó en contra. La SB 132 está en espera de ser firmada por el gobernador Newsom.
Lo pongan como lo pongan, California le ha fallado a la niñez. Los legisladores les han fallado al apoyar estos proyectos de ley tan enfermos. Los ciudadanos les hemos fallado al no informarnos correctamente antes de votar y confiar ciegamente en los noticieros principales. La iglesia les ha fallado por quedarse callada y mantenerse “apolítica.” Las escuelas les han fallado por engañar a las futuras generaciones en aras de la “tolerancia y equidad.” Los padres de familia les hemos fallado por confiar ciegamente en el sistema y olvidar que la educación, los valores y los principios se enseñan primero en casa.
Si terminaste de leer esto, ¿qué vas a hacer diferente? ¿cómo vas a provocar un cambio? Porque aún no es demasiado tarde para cambiar las cosas. Analiza lo que has estado haciendo y ahora haz algo diferente. Mira a quienes son responsables de desproteger la integridad de nuestros niños con estas leyes y llámalos a cuentas. Vivimos en una República Constitucional y en ella el pueblo es el que gobierna y los legisladores y gobernantes son nuestros empleados y se deben a nosotros. ¡Gracias a Dios no vivimos en una democracia porque en ella gobierna la mayoría y no el pueblo! Ahora que sabes eso te pregunto de nuevo: ¿Qué vas a hacer diferente? ¿cómo vas a provocar un cambio?

 

California Has Failed Our Children

As expected, Governor Gavin Newsom signed SB 145, which will go into effect and extend protections to adults up to 24 years of age who sodomize minors between 14 and 17 years of age. Yes, you have read correctly. This aberration received the support of Democratic and independent legislators as well as LGBT lobby groups and will take effect very soon in California.
Assemblyman Chad Mayes (I) was the deciding vote for this law to be passed; in fact, if he had stood in opposition and had voted NO, as he did before, this bill would have failed and died. In his speech of support before the Assembly Floor, Mayes said he changed his position on this project after seeking advice from the District Attorneys of Riverside and San Bernardino counties. This excuse is meaningless as the Riverside County prosecutor is known for his heavy hand against sex trafficking and child abuse. Has Prosecutor Mike Hestrin changed his position or is Chad Mayes openly lying? So far, Prosecutor Hestrin has not released any public statement accepting or denying what Mayes said.
Assembly Members Eduardo García (D) and Ben Hueso (D) had previously voted in favor allowing the bill to move forward, but as usual when a bill is controversial, instead of casting their vote in opposition to SB145, both decided to simply abstain from voting. This action from both is not surprising, if we check their voting records, we can see that this is a pattern that they follow very frequently. Regarding their lack of courage to protect children and vote against this law, neither of them has made any open statements.
Senator Melissa Meléndez (R) spoke out against the bill by openly responding on social media to Senator Scott Weiner, author of SB145 “I know exactly what the bill does because I read it. You are trying to normalize sex with children, and I am not going to let you get away with it. “
Senator Weiner, as well as various media and the LGBT lobby that defend this law, allege that it is an “Equity” law because the penal code already gives the judge discretion to classify as a minor offense penile-vaginal sex between a minor between 14 and 17 and an adult no older than 24 and not require that they register as a “sex offender,” and that all they are doing is extending the same provision for those who have anal sex with a minor.
Interestingly, Senator Weiner is the author of laws that have been passed and that now set a pattern that leaves us wondering about his true hidden agenda and how many more legislators will be “involved” with him and therefore have supported these laws. Let’s take a simple look at his laws and who has supported them:
SB 239 reduced intentionally infecting a person with HIV from a Crime to a Misdemeanor and eliminated the obligation to notify when donating blood that a person has HIV. Ben Hueso (D) and Eduardo García (D) voted in favor, Chad Mayes (I) abstained from voting, and Melissa Meléndez (R) voted against it. The law was passed and went into effect in 2018.
SB 384 replaces California’s existing universal lifetime registration system requirement for sex offenders with a tier-based system. Ben Hueso (D) and Eduardo García (D) voted in favor, Chad Mayes (I) and Melissa Meléndez (R) voted against. This law will enter into effect on January 1, 2021.
SB 132 will allow inmates who claim to be transgender to be incarcerated based on their gender identity and not their biological sex. Ben Hueso (D) and Chad Mayes (I) voted in favor, Eduardo García (D) initially voted in favor for the project to advance and in the Assembly Floor, as usual, he abstained from voting. Melissa Meléndez (R) voted against. SB 132 is awaiting to be signed by Governor Newsom.
However they put it; California has failed our children. Legislators have failed them by supporting these sick bills. Citizens have failed them by not informing ourselves correctly before voting and for blindly trusting the mainstream news. The church has failed them for keeping quiet and staying “apolitical.” Schools have failed them for misleading future generations in the name of “tolerance and equality.” Parents have failed them for blindly trusting the system and forgetting that education, values, and principles are first taught at home.
If you finished reading this, what are you going to do differently? How are you going to cause a change? Because it is not too late to change things yet. Analyze what you’ve been doing and now do something different. Look at who is responsible for unprotecting the integrity of our children with these laws and make them accountable. We live in a Constitutional Republic and in it the people are the ones that govern, and the legislators and governors are our employees and they serve us. Thank God we do not live in a democracy because a democracy is governed by the majority and not by the people! Now that you know that I ask you again: What are you going to do differently? How are you going to cause a change?
