Augustine Casino Presents “Mariachi Under the Stars”
Grammy Award nominees Ezequiel Peña and Trio Ellas to perform at October 21 concert event.
COACHELLA CA, (October, 2018) – Ticket sales are running at a brisk pace for Augustine Casino’s sixth annual Mariachi Under the Stars concert event set for Sunday, October 21. This popular community event highlights traditional mariachi music along with authentic Mexican cuisine.
“The casino is thrilled to present Grammy Award nominee El Charro de Mexico Ezequiel Peña as this year’s concert headliner,” said event organizer Juanita Oaks. Peña will be accompanied by his mariachi and a very special presentation with his son Ezequiel Peña Jr.
Also performing are Trio Ellas, a group of three young Latinas who have been making waves with a unique sound that combines traditional mariachi and classic romantic boleros with a fresh contemporary twist. “We are extremely excited to be so warmly welcomed here in the city of Coachella and are looking forward to sharing our music with the local community,” said Suemy Gonzalez, violinist/vocalist of Trio Ellas. The trio’s high level of music proficiency has led to them to record with artists such as Benjamin Gibbard and Lady Gaga.

Tickets to Mariachi under the Stars are available now by visiting either Augustine’s online ticket site at www.augustinecasino.com or in person at the Augustine Casino gift shop. Limited numbers of General admission ($25) and reserved seating ($45) are available.
