Animal Samaritans Celebrate 31st Birthday

Together with La Prensa Hispana’s 20th birthday celebration

Animal Samaritans and La Prensa Hispana Newspaper joined together for a relaxed evening among close friends and associates. The gathering took place at the Jackalope Ranch Restaurant in Indio where approximately 140 persons in an invitation only celebration. The evening was more of an informative session to present the goals and progress of Animal Samaritans. There was a table set with finger foods and a musical celebration by the Jarocho Kings a very exciting three person group that has honored many events with their fantastic music. Animal Samaritans is proceeding on schedule with their new facilities in Thousand Palms that will serve over 45,000 pets annually.

Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack sent Congressional recognition certificates to all board members and a special letter of congratulations to La Prensa Hispana for their diligent work in the community over the past 20 years. Barbara Flanagan one of the original founders of Animal Samaritans was present as a current board member.
